December 23, 2015 - "A Magical Christmas"
I'd like to present my newest song, "A Magical Christmas", which came to me in a flash on December 15, 2015. I quickly recorded the idea, and it was finished on Thursday December 17th. It's a happy, upbeat song, with a swingin' beat and plenty of girl-group harmonies to celebrate the season! I hope you enjoy!

Presenting "Sanctuary of Sound"!
After almost 18 months of writing and production, my 4th CD, "Sanctuary of Sound" has now been officially released, on May 8, 2013. There are 14 songs on this album, that fall into different groups of themes that sort of fell into place after all the songs were written and recorded. From the seasons, to experiences along the way, reminiscing, and the creative use of metaphor , I wrote the music with no particular theme in mind, just jotting down ideas in my notebook as I was capturing the melodies that seemed to materialize out of nowhere, yet were heavily influenced by all my favorite music from the 60's. It was by chance that the songs happened to form into clusters of themes, and the album was sequenced to reflect this.
"Sanctuary of Sound" refers to my own studio - my happy place, where I can just relax and have fun making music. This album is the result of doing just that. Special thanks go out to my guest artists, Fabrizio Serrecchia (from Ciampino, Rome, Italy) and Vinnie Zummo (from New York, NY, USA) for adding some fantastic guitar work to my music. Vinnie also cowrote and added vocals on the final track "Sunset". Many thanks go out to my mastering engineer, Steve Turnidge for his excellent work in mastering and sequencing the songs into an album that I am very proud of.
I hope you enjoy listening to the album, as much as I enjoyed to make it!
Happy summer! Have fun!

Back from UltraViolet Studios in Seattle, with my Production Master of "Sanctuary of Sound"!
April 24, 2013
We are fast approaching the release of my 4th album, "Sanctuary of Sound"! The final song was finished and mastered on April 22, and I will be making the trip to Seattle this weekend to visit my Mastering Engineer, Steve Turnidge, to sequence the album and make the master disc!
In the meantime, I'm designing the artwork for the CD and attending to the other details involved in getting the finished product ready for release. I don't have a firm date for release, as everything depends on how fast CD Baby can process the new addition to my catalogue, (and also how fast the mail can get the first set of discs over to the CD Baby warehouse). But I am hoping to have the release sometime in early May!
In the meantime you can hear some of my new music on my Music, Videos & Photos page.

into 2012, and I'm pleased to to report that production is going well
for my 4th album. I currently have 5 new songs finished with 2 more in
progress at this time. The album at this point is untitled, though I
have a few themes in mind. If all goes well, I expect to have this
album ready for release in spring 2013, but in the meantime, I've been
posting the new tunes at Soundcloud.com for you to hear as production on the album progresses.

"A GO-GO GIRL IN A MODERN WORLD" OFFICIALLY RELEASED!
I'm happy to announce the official release of my 3rd album, "A Go-Go
Girl in a Modern World" today! This album took 20 months to complete,
and features 14 songs, inspired by the music and fun themes from the
There are 2 songs on the album that were co-written. The first of these
is "In the Eyes of a Little Girl", cowritten and performed as a duet
with the fabulous Maxi Dunn, a brilliant songwriter and artist in her own right, and with the talented Peter Hackett (of Cult of Wedge) on lead guitar.
The 2nd co-write is a song about a brand new dance called "The California Quake", with lyrics and choreography by Elaine McAfee Bender.
Elaine was a go-go dancer in the sixties and now is a choreographer and
dance teacher. Her lyrics and experience brought a nice authenticity
to this dance song.
I was also very happy to have Richard Snow Hattersley (of Richard Snow and the Inlaws) record the guitars, bass and drums on the song "My Little SUV", a song that is my modern spin on the car songs of the 60's.
And last but not least, I am grateful to my talented friend, Fabrizio Serrecchia (of Soundserif),
for playing lead guitar on "A Go-Go Girl in a Modern World", "The
Invisible Guy", "Chameleon Man", and "A Ride on the Train". The album
is available through CD Baby.
